The Edrington EPIC Charity Cyclists initiatives began in 2015 when a group of Edrington employees decided to cycle from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore to raise money for a Singapore based charity that supports children from underprivileged backgrounds. That initial ride raised £68,000 and showed colleagues across the world what pedal power was truly about.
Since then, Edrington EPIC Charity Cyclists initiatives have taken off across the world. From Asia Pacific to Europe, the Americas and the Dominican Republic, colleagues have come together through cycling to support causes in their communities that are close to their heart.
This year alone, EPIC rides organised across those four locations saw more than 200 colleagues participate in cycling challenges to raise funds for a number of inspiring organisations. Through the support of many friends and partners and thanks to Edrington’s double matching, last year the EPIC rides collectively raised more than £700,000. Since 2015, EPIC rides across the world have raised in excess of £2m.
